Egypt Energy Leadership conference

Location: Hall 4
Theme:
Driving sustainable development and progress in the sector

Overview

Several new megaprojects in power generation and grid infrastructure emphasise the continued renewable energy ambitions of Egypt. The Egyptian government is working towards increasing the supply of electricity generated from renewable sources to 42% by 2035, with the economic and social development within the region bolstered through power trade and export of surplus ‘clean electricity’ generated. Digitisation and automation, 4IR and partnerships are some of the key enablers of the rapid infrastructure development that is needed to meet the energy ambition.

Following the resounding success of the 1st edition, the 2nd Annual Egypt Energy Leadership Conference will once again bring together prominent leaders and stakeholders driving the energy and utilities sector forward. Held under the patronage of the Egyptian Ministry of Electricity & Renewable Energy and the support of the Ministry of Environment, this conference serves as a platform for discussions, debates, and sharing of ideas on various aspects of energy leadership, including renewable energy, sustainability, and innovation.

The event will host government officials, investors, senior industry experts from Egypt and key countries engaged in trade and cooperation with Egypt. Through the conference, attendees gain insights into the latest developments in the energy and utilities industry, and network with other key players in the field.
